Zoe Baillie speaks to the Independent Online explaining how she started having symptoms of Pompe disease in her late teens, but it was not until her mid-30s by the time she was finally diagnosed with the rare condition.

Zoe's story of her lengthy diagnosis is sadly too common within the Pompe community, but Zoe, a subscriber to the Pompe Support Network, is helping to raise awareness of Pompe disease as part of an initiative supported and funded by Sanofi UK to further amplify the voices of those with rare diseases.
