Wayne Belfitt is part of the Pompe Support Network team and on hand to provide advice and support on social care issues.
Wayne is a qualified social worker and someone who lives with Pompe disease. Wayne was diagnosed with Late Onset Pompe in 2006 so understands the difficulties of living with Pompe. He graduated as a social worker to help other individuals with physical impairments who also find themselves struggling with the social care and healthcare systems.
Wayne is very much a people person and loves to get to know everyone and find out about them. You will find him welcoming and very positive and happy to talk to you, however big or small your issue.
