Wayne Belfitt is part of the Pompe Support Network team and on hand to provide advice and support on social care issues.
His aim is to help people feel heard, supported and better informed when navigating health, care and support services.
Services offered include:
- Benefits support and advice – helping individuals understand available benefits and access appropriate support.
- Support letters for referrals – assisting with letters and supporting information to help individuals communicate their needs and circumstances when seeking referrals.
- Signposting to other services – helping people identify and access relevant organisations, charities and community support.
- Patient advocacy and guidance – supporting individuals to express their concerns, understand their options and feel more confident when dealing with services.
We understand that navigating health and support systems can sometimes feel overwhelming. Our aim is to provide a supportive, approachable service that helps individuals feel listened to and guides them towards the assistance they need.
