We are pleased to announce our next Zoom into Pompe online meeting will take place on 2nd November 2020 @ 11am (UK Time) and will feature Dr Pim Pijnappel, PhD, who will discuss the emerging novel therapies for Pompe Disease.
Since 2012 Pim Pijnappel has worked at the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, Center for Lysosomal and Metabolic Diseases. Here he applies advances in stem cell biology and genetic engineering to disease modelling and the development of novel therapies for lysosomal storage disorders. His group works on skeletal muscle, cartilage, and the central nervous system in homeostasis and human disease including Pompe disease and Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS).
